Crochet Hooks:
For Hat & Purse:
Size I-9 (5.50 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
For Scarf:
Size H-8 (5.00 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauges:
Using double strand and larger hook:
Rnds 1-4 = 2" diameter.
Using single strand and smaller hook: 7sc = 2".
